1. Who we are

HearthGuard Home Insurance (“HearthGuard”, “we”, “us”) is an insurance referral and marketing service. We are not an insurance company and do not underwrite policies or decide claims.

2. Information we collect

  • The ZIP code and phone number you enter on our homepage to get a quote line. We send these, together with a tracking tag identifying the advertisement you came from, to our call-routing partner network so a licensed agent or partner licensed in your area can be matched to your call. We do not need or store your name at that step, and you can opt out at any time on our Do Not Call page.
  • Information you give us when you call, such as your name, phone number, email address, property address, ownership status, and details about your home and current coverage.
  • Call records, including recordings and transcripts where permitted by law, and notes taken by the agent.
  • Technical and usage information collected automatically, such as IP address, device and browser type, referring URL, pages viewed, and advertising identifiers.
  • Information from advertising and analytics partners, including Google Ads, about how you reached this site.

3. How we use information

We use information to connect you with licensed insurance agents and partners, to prepare and deliver quotes, to respond to your requests, to detect fraud and abuse, to measure and improve our advertising and website, and to comply with legal obligations including telemarketing and insurance regulations.

4. How we share information

We share the information you provide with licensed insurance agents, insurance carriers, and marketing partners so they can quote and service coverage for you. We also share information with service providers who host our systems, route calls, analyze traffic, and deliver advertising, and with regulators or law enforcement where required. We do not sell information to unrelated third parties for their own independent marketing beyond the partner sharing described here.

5. Calls, recording and text messages

Calls to or from the number shown on this site may be recorded or monitored for quality, training, and compliance purposes. If you provide your number, you may be contacted about insurance products at that number, including by an agent or partner. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is never a condition of purchase, and you may withdraw it at any time through our Do Not Call page.

6. Cookies and advertising

We and our partners use cookies, pixels and similar technologies to remember your preferences, measure campaign performance, and understand how visitors use the site. You can control cookies through your browser settings, and you can opt out of personalized Google advertising in your Google Ads settings.

7. Your privacy choices (CCPA/CPRA and other states)

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request a copy, to request deletion or correction, to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and of targeted advertising, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We keep information for as long as needed for the purposes described above and to meet legal, tax and regulatory record-keeping requirements, then delete or de-identify it. We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards, though no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

9. Children

This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.
